China Arrival Card online guide
Fill your entry information through official channels before flying, and avoid websites that charge fake “arrival card” fees.
Quick answer
NIA introduced online Arrival Card filling for foreigners on November 20, 2025. Before traveling to China, foreign visitors may submit entry information through official channels such as the NIA official website, government service platforms, NIA 12367, and WeChat/Alipay mini-programs. The service is free of charge.
How to use it
Use the NIA official page, NIA 12367 app/mini-program, or official QR code at the port.
Passport, flight/train/ship information, China address, contact details, and basic travel purpose.
Save or screenshot the confirmation page if available. Keep your passport and ticket details consistent.
NIA says travelers can also complete online filling at ports using smart devices or paper Arrival Cards where available.
Who may be exempt from filling
NIA’s 2025 announcement lists seven exempt categories, including holders of a PRC Foreign Permanent Resident ID Card, holders of Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents (Non-Chinese Citizens), group visa or eligible group visa-free entry, direct 24-hour transit without leaving the restricted port area, same-cruise entry and exit, fast-lane entry, and foreign employees of exit-entry transport vehicles.
